Barque Butcher Bar, located at 287 Roncesvalles Avenue, is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about food, and is excited to learn and grow in our company. Responsibilities
 Consistently portion and season food according to recipes
 Plate foods in an aesthetically pleasing and consistent way
 Follow and maintain health and safety regulations
 Maintain kitchen cleanliness
 Manage a fast paced service
 Manage a rigorous prep schedule
 Ordering and Inventory duties
 Prepared to create new menu items
 Manage a small service team
Qualifications
 Food Handler certification - not needed but asset
 2 years’ experience in food preparation
 Skills
 Develops plans effectively
 Strong knife skills
 Follows detailed instructions well
 Time management
 Performs well under stress
 Works well with others
 Good communication skills

Availability
 Weekends and Evenings
 Full Time Hours

Salaried position at $35,000 a year + benefits and tips
